The Castlemilk Moorit Sheep society was founded in 1983 by the Late Joe Henson when only 8 flocks were in existence. We have grown to over 150 flocks and hope to see this growth continuing securing the future of this lovely breed.
We would really like to welcome you to the society supporting our wonderful breed. The society is open to both breed owners and those with an interest in the breed but not currently owning a flock.
Membership is £20 a year for each flock/household and members get 3 newsletters a year and access to support and resources such as recipe cards for meat boxes and banners and leaflets to promote your flock at shows or to potential buyers.
You can join immediately online at the link below or email us at info@castlemilkmooritsociety.co.uk for more information.
Once we receive your application we will send you a welcome pack with useful information about the breed and how to access our members area.
Thank you for your support.
